American Idol’s Kris Allen promoting newly released album

American Idol winner,Kris Allen, releases his self titled debut album today.  Having wrapped up an appearance on  The Tonight With Conan O’Brien, Allen,  is forging a full press tour to promote the album.  In the next few weeks, the singer is expected to visit

Good Morning America and “It’s On With Alexa Chung” on MTV today (November 17) and VH1’s Top 20 Countdown on November 21.
The singer is expected to present at the American Music Awards and will appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on November 23.

Two names from two of the most popular female groups of the 80s and 90s, Salt n’ Pepa and TLC, will be back in the spotlight and looking for love on VH1.

TLC’s “Chilli,” Salt n’ Pepa’s “Pepa” will all star in new shows for the network. The yet to be named Pepa series is being called as a “real life comedy” following Sandra “Pepa” Dalton as she searches for love after four years of celibacy.

The Chilli Project (working title) will feature former TLC star,  Ronzonda “Chilli” Thomas, searching for love with the help of  relationship expert  Tionna Smalls.

Both shows are expected to air next year.
