    Singers, Mya, Kelly Osbourne and Donny Osmond are competing against each other in a very challenging awards show. It’s not the Grammys, The American Music Awards or The People’s Choice Awards. The songsters are fighting to see which of them take home the mirror balled trophy of “Dancing With The Stars”.

    On last nights show, each couple danced three numbers including a side by side same choreographed dance that had a combination of three dance styles.

    Osmond is partnered with Kym Johnson. Total Score-85 out of 90
    Mya is partnered with Dmitry Chaplin. Total Score- 87 out of 90
    Osbourne is partnered with Louie Van Amsel. Total Score-76 out of 90

    At the end of the evening Mya led with 87 and had Kelly Osbourne had the lowest score with 76. Donny received a 30 for his Free style dance. Mya received a 30 for her Paso Doable dance.

    Other highlights of the finale are past contestants and champions, and a musical number by Whitney Houston.

    Dancing With The Stars was a “Thriller” night on Tuesday as all of the professional dancers performed a special tribute to Michael Jackson. Performing in the tribute were Season 9 dancers Kym Johnson, Karina Smirnoff, Cheryl Burke, Dmitry Chaplin, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Edyta Sliwinska, Anna Trebunskaya, Alec Mazo, Lacey Schwimmer , Jonathan Roberts, Mark Ballas, Tony Dovolani, Anna Demidova, Louis van Amstel, Chelsie Hightower  and Derek Hough. The show has danced to 17 performances over the years to songs of Michael Jackson. Clips and interviews were shown throughout the show with the professional dancers talking about Michael Jackson. ” He is an inspiration to anyone who wants to dance ” stated dancer Mark Ballas. Michael’s siblings, Jermaine Jackson and LaToya Jackson also spoke on the taped tribute talking about Michael’s love of dance and his love for the show Dancing With The Stars.

    The dancers performed to “I Want You Back”, Man In The Mirror” and “Thriller”. Latoya Jackson introduced the musical tribute.

    Along in the audience with LaToya Jackson were Michael’s mother Katharine Jackson and brother Jermaine Jackson.

    Dancing With The Stars airs Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC.

    Kathy Ireland is the latest celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing With The Stars. Kathy danced with Tony Dovolani who was previously partnered with Jane Seymour and Susan Lucci. 

    “I wouldn’t change a minute of it,” Ireland,  told PEOPLE  Magazine. “To be able to work with Tony the past six weeks has changed my life forever. I can do so many things I never thought I could do. I feel like the biggest winner because I got him as my teacher.”

     There are 13 remaining couples dancing, including current front runners, Aaron Carter, Mya and Donny Osmond. Dancing With The Stars airs Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC.

    (Press Release): Actress and star of ABC’s new comedy “Cougar Town,” Courteney Cox, will join the all-star lineup at “The ABCs of Disney,” a special presentation at the D23 EXPO, September 10, 3:00 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center arena.

    Cox gained overnight fame as neurotic yet loveable Monica Gellar on the Emmy® Award-winning comedy “Friends.” The show also garnered Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from 1999-2004. In 1996 she starred in Wes Craven’s horror/comedy “Scream.” She went on to reprise her role two more times for the “Scream” trilogy. Additional film credits include “3000 Miles to Graceland,” “Mr. Destiny,” “Cocoon: The Return,” “Zoom,” “November,” “The Longest Yard” and “Barnyard.” Cox teams this season with “Scrubs” creator Bill Lawrence on the new ABC comedy “Cougar Town.” They serve as executive producers through their companies, Coquette and Doozer, respectively.

    “The ABCs of Disney” concludes with a thrilling dance performance by two of “Dancing with the Stars’” professional champions, Cheryl Burke (two-time winner with partners Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith) and Derek Hough (Season Seven champion with Brooke Burke). And in a first for “Dancing with the Stars” fans, legendary entertainer and longtime Disney collaborator Donny Osmond will be joined by his professional ballroom partner, Kym Johnson, and preview his dance abilities for D23 EXPO goers, long before his televised premiere on September 21st on the ABC Television Network.

    Throughout the four-day D23 EXPO, guests can enter the “ABC House Screening Room” to see sneak peeks of ABC’s new Fall schedule. The “ABC House Screening Room” is set up to be as comfortable as a living room –- where guests are encouraged to put up their feet, relax and enjoy the best that television has to offer.

    Also on display Sept. 10-13 is ABC’s “Lost.” In celebration of the Emmy® Award-winning series’ entering its final, thrilling season, ABC Television Network presents a can’t-miss experience for all fans. Guests will be able to step into the world of “Lost” and see a selection of props, set pieces, costumes and collectors’ artifacts from key moments in the series, as well as sign up for Lost University, a special Blu-ray™ and online experience, and receive a limited edition collectors’ pin, available only at D23 Expo.

    Fans will also have a chance to sneak a peek at ABC’s first TV special by Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Prep & Landing.” On Sept. 12, “Prep & Landing’s” directors, Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton, will present the holiday special and answer fans’ questions.

Admission includes access to all experiences and entertainment at the D23 EXPO and can be purchased for single days or for the full four days of festivities. Admission is $37 for a one-day adult ticket and $27 for children 3-12. Four-day passes are $111 for adults and $81 for children.     Dancing With The Stars season 9 partners announced

    dwts8-logoABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” premiering on Monday, Sept. 21, has just released its celebrity-dancer pairings for the ninth season.

    Politician Tom DeLay will be dancing with Cheryl Burke, a two-time champion.

    Debi Mazar, of “Entourage,” has veteran Maksim Chmerkovskiy as her partner.

    Kelly Osbourne is with Louis van Amstel (fifth season) and Donny Osmond is paired with Kym Johnson (seventh season.)

    Teen idol Aaron Carter will be twirling it with Karina Smirnoff, who’s back for her seventh season.

    Grammy winner Macy Gray is dancing with Jonathan Roberts, now in his seventh season as well.

    The television actress Melissa Joan Hart will be sdancing  with two-time champion Mark Ballas.

    Comedian Ashley Hamilton will be partnered with Edyta Sliwinska, the only professional to have competed in all nine seasons.

    Model Kathy Ireland is with Tony Dovolani, who previously danced with Susan Lucci.

    The model Joanna Krupa is partnered with Season 7 champion Derek Hough.

    Singer Mya is with Dmitry Chaplin in his second season on the show.

    Natalie Coughlin, Olympic champion swimmer, teams with dancing champion Alec Mazo from Season 1.

    Michael Irvin, NFL hall of famer, is with Anna Demidova, the winner of last seasons professional dancer contest.

    Ultimate fighter Chuck Liddell will dane with Anna Trebunskaya.

    And finally, professional snowboarder, Louie Vito joins Chelsea Hightower in her second season.

    First Marie, now Donny’s doing it. The latest round of contestants were announced for Dancing With The Stars. Perhaps the most talked about news was of the name that wasn’t on it, Paula Abdul. It was rumored that Abdul would spend her Monday and Tuesday nights dancing. The actual cast “dubbed the biggest season yet” by ABC, the cast seems just like every other cast before them.

    Steve Harvey joins Good Morning America

    SteveHarveyComedian, author, actor and radio host, Steve Harvey, will add another title to his already busy resume.  Starting this week, Harvey will join Good Morning America as a contributor for the next several months.  The morning news program has also recently added All My Children’s Cameron Mathison and Dancing With The Stars contestant  Melissa Rykroft to their roster as well. Good Morning America airs weekday mornings on ABC.
