Beyonce surprised the crowd and one lucky lady at a concert stop on her current tour when she helped one of her audience members propose to his girlfriend. While on stage singing her popular song and anthem for women everywhere, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), the singer suddenly stopped it in the middle of it. Unsure of what was taking place, a stunned crowd sat in confusion. According to Radar Online, who reported the event on their site, the stage lights went as Beyonce asked for a single spotlight.

“I’m not sure if production knows about this,” she told the audience, “but Lindell has something he wants to sing.” She handed the microphone to a man in the audience, who instead of singing, said: “Beyonce, you told me if I like it, I need to put a ring on it.” He then dropped to one knee and asked his girlfriend to marry him in front of a sellout crowd. His girlfriend, now fiancee, accepted and the crowd gave the newly engaged couple a round of applause.

Billboard’s Top 25 Songs of 2008

After scoring the first million-plus sales debut in three years, Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III easily cruised to the top of the 2008 album chart, selling nearly 2.9 million copies, per Nielsen SoundScan.

With a mean grille, wobbly lyrics and smash hits like “Lollipop” and “A Milli,” the mixtape king certainly helped the music biz from tanking even worse, but Tha Carter III is still the first year-end best-seller in the SoundScan era to move fewer than 3 million copies. SoundScan began tracking albums in ’91.

“Lollipop,” the rapper’s first-ever Hot 100 chart-topper, also ruled the most cell phones last year with nearly 2.4 million ringtones sold.
Taylor Swift, Coldplay, TI and Beyonce also topped the list.
A clever DJ found a way to showcase all of the songs in a clever five minute video:

Do You See Beyonce As Wonder Woman???

Beyonce Desires To Play Wonder Woman On Big Screen

Pop singer/actress Beyonce told the LA Times that she too wants to get her foot in that genre and wants to play Wonder Woman on the big screen. Beyoncé says that she has met with representatives of DC Comics and Warner Bros. to express her interest in a major role in one of the many comic-book adaptations now in the pipeline following the massive success of ‘The Dark Knight'” ‘Iron Man’ and the ‘Spider-Man’ and ‘X-Men’ franchises.

She goes on to say that she chose Wonder Woman because she saw Lynda Carter’s costume from the 1970s television show on display at the Costume
Institute’s ‘Superhero’ show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

‘I would definitely have to keep it right for that costume. The way that Lynda Carter wore it, she was sooo fine. She was amazing. I saw her costume at the Met. Her waist was unbelievable. It was pretty crazy, actually, her proportions. But I love Wonder Woman and it’d be a dream come true to be that character. It sure would be handy to have that lasso. To make everybody tell the truth? I need that. It would come in very handy.’
