Public Enemies Premiere With Johnny Depp

The Los Angeles Film Festival hosted the Public Enemies premiere. The Michael Mann film stars Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Oscar winner Marion Cotillard.

Television Panels Rumored To Appear At The 40th Anniversary of Comic Con

ComicConThis year marks the 40th anniversary of the Comic Con convention. This annual event will be held in San Diego on July 23- 26.

Comic-Con International is a convention that celebrates comics and related popular art forms.

Rumored and expected events in the field of television are as follows according the the press release from Fox:
Friday, July 24:
2:15-3:00 P.M. Coming off its most critically acclaimed season in years, 24 stars Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub and new cast members Anil Kapoor , Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Katee Sackhoff join showrunnner Howard Gordon and the producers of the Emmy-winning series for a special sneak peek at the heart-stopping premiere episode of Season 8. Ballroom 20.
3-3:45 P.M. Bones showrunner Hart Hanson and stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel are on hand for a discussion of what’s on deck for Booth and Brennan, hot on the heels of this year’s much talked-about season finale in which the pair finally wound up between the sheets. Ballroom 20.
4 P.M-6 P.M. Join Dollhouse creator Joss Whedon and star/producer Eliza Dushku for a no-holds-barred Q & A about what they have planned for season 2, after they unveil a special screening of the NEVER BEFORE SEEN “Epitaph One” episode of the Fox hit which releases on DVD just four days later. 11:15 A.M.-12 P.M Join Seth MacFarlane, Mila Kunis, Seth Green and the brilliant creative minds behind Family Guy for a raucous discussion of what goes on behind the scenes of tv’s most subversive animated hit. 12-12:45 P.M. Con fans will get the FIRST LOOK at The Cleveland Show, the wickedly funny new spin-off of Family Guy starring America’s favorite beleaguered animated African American, Cleveland Brown. Flashforward– An new ABC series starring Joseph Fiennes where a mysterious global event causes everyone to black out simultaneously for two minutes and seventeen seconds, and each person sees a glimpse of their lives six months from now. When they wake up, everyone is left wondering what happened. The series is rumored to appear sometime during the weekend.

There is sad news in the world of music today. Michael Jackson known around the world as the King Of Pop had died. Performing since the age of 5, Michael garnered fame as a child performer with his brothers as Motown artists the Jackson 5, became a teen idol as he and his brothers evolved in the 80s as The Jacksons and them grew to world wide superstar status as a solo artist. His album Thriller remains the best selling album to this day with his Dangerous album being the best selling album.

In his later years Jackson became a constant tabloid newspaper headline for his ever changing physical appearance and for his legal troubles.
Jackson was set to make a comeback to music with a series of concerts in London. He was 50 years old.

Michael Jackson, one of a kind.

Michael Jackson was modern music’s most famous world entertainer and in later years was perhaps the most notorious. His albums Thriller and Dangerous remain the best selling albums to this day.

Michael is survived by his three children, his parents and a host of family and friends.

ABC is air a special on the life and career of Michael Jackson tonight at 9pm eastern.

Eddie Cibrian To Join Cast of CSI: Miami

The Hollywood Reporter announced that Eddie Cibrian will be joining the cast of CSI: Miami when the show kicks off it’s eight season this fall. He will play an officer from the Hollywood division that joins the Miami team. Cibrian, a series regular on Third Watch and most recently had a guest-starring role in Ugly Betty, was once in daytime, starring on the now defunct drama Sunset Beach. The eighth season of the series premieres on Monday, September 21 on CBS.
