Mark Burnett and MTV are preparing a new show based on Rock Band 2. The company is currently seeking quartets (lead vocals, guitar, bass and drums) to compete on stage. American Idol Runner Up Adam Lambert Signs Record Deal

Billboard Magazine is reporting that American Idol Runner Up Adam Lambert has signed a recording contract with RCA records and 19 Recordings.

“I’m thrilled that we’ve come to a creative and collaborative partnership and look forward to developing a really exciting album,” Lambert said in a statement. “We are 100% on the same page and are all anxiously awaiting the start of the recordings.” It’s going to be ridiculous!” adds Lambert. “Get Ready!!!”

ABC Announces Fall Premiere Dates

dwts-740632 ABC has announced it’s Prime-Time line up set to debut on    September 21.

Hit Dancing With The Stars will air three nights before moving to it’s usual two nights. Ugly Betty will move to Friday nights with a two -hour premiere on October 9th.

RACHEL RAY RENEWS TALK SHOW DEAL

Daytime syndicated talk show “Rachael Ray” has been renewed through the 2011-12 season after the ABC Owned TV Stations inked a deal to pick up the Emmy-winning show for two more seasons.
